Rose Prieto
Rose Prieto is a licensed cosmetic tattooist, esthetician and electrologist living in Miami, Florida where she owns and operates Beauty & Brow Lounge, PMU and Brow Shaping Studio. With over three decades of experience as a brow and makeup artist, and a professional business coach since 2020, Rose has dedicated her career to empowering and mentoring PMU and beauty artists all over the world.
It is through her passion for education that propelled her to write two books for the cosmetic tattooist. Her first book HOW MELANIN & FITZPATRICK INFLUENCE THE COSMETIC TATTOO was the topic of her presentation at the 2021 SPCP annual convention in Las Vegas.
Her second book IN THE SKIN is a love-letter to the skin-canvas. Her mission is to empower the tattooist who is not schooled in the complexities of the living canvas they work in everyday. Her second book was the inspiration for her presentation at the Team Micro PMU Conference, in September 2022.
Rose is a former board member for the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP), and served as marketing chair. She is a member of the Alliance of Professional Tattooists (APT), she is a lifetime member of the SPCP, she was a select mentor for the online artist-support platform PMU MENTOR, and she is the host of THE BEAUTY LOUNGE PODCAST.
Rose has also been honored to emcee some of the most prestigious PMU industry events, such as 2019's IPCS in Miami, 2020's SPCC in Mexico and WULOP USA 2023 conference in Miami Beach.
Rose's newest venture is the online learning space, PMU THRIVE SOCIETY, which offers affordable digital downloads and courses to educate the PMU artist about the eccentricities of the skin-canvas and the hair follicle.
