Being raised in the arts by her father, Stephen Shortridge, a nationally acclaimed artist and actor, Hayley Shortridge-Gabriel followed in her father’s footsteps and became a professional artist in 2005 selling her fine art in galleries from California to Florida. Hoping to offer her creativity beyond the traditional canvas she decided to apply her artistic abilities to the human canvas and that’s when her business True Life Canvas was formed.
In 2012 and again in 2019, Hayley received the coveted title of “Top 30 Under 40 Business Professionals”. She’s been featured in numerous publications, podcasts and has been asked to be a speaker at multiple industry conferences. She has fallen in love with restoring what once was lost. You can feel her passion for what she does and the desire to teach others to have the same impact on their clients' lives.
Hayley has worked closely with plastic surgeons, performed thousands of permanent cosmetic and paramedical procedures and is proud to have taught hundreds of students. Along with offering online courses, Hayley is the lead trainer at the True Life Canvas Academy where she offers both fundamental and advanced courses, and is located in beautiful Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
